Tomb Raider Reboot- leaked details
A few details of concept development work on new Tomb Raider title are leaked on the web recently. The news confirms that one of the best video game franchises of all time is getting a full reboot. Online gaming portal- fourplayerscoop reported this week that a few documents and initial concept art pictures were spotted on the internet. This supports the rumour that Tomb Raider franchise is getting a complete makeover and a fresh start.
The possibility of report by fourplayerscoop being true was strengthened as Crystal Dynamics’ lawyers requested the site to remove concerned posts. But before the posts were removed, other gaming sites like Shacknews had already reported the news.
The alleged concept work spotted on the internet included some terrific survival horror gameplay elements details that could eventually be a part of the game. Fresh-start game is expected to feature a young and inexperienced Lara Croft.
Some extracts from the plot were also leaked over internet. After a deadly storm destroys Lara’s research vessel, she is left stranded on a mysterious remote island off the Japanese coast. Lara must face every coming challenge in order to survive. She will have to adapt to demanding situations and escape from the deadly predators-filled island before she gets killed.
Gameplay involves intense aspects like Strategic Weapons, Survival Action and “Hunt or be Hunted” sort of mindset. Intense game story makes you think and explore the island for finding a way to survive.
